This Privacy Policy explains how YennayApps collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you use the YennayApps website, app directory, apps, tools, subdomains and connected services, including YennayApps Social Publisher.

YennayApps is a parent brand and app directory for independent apps, learning tools, games, automation tools and publishing utilities.
2. What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy covers:
- visits to yennayapps.com;
- use of YennayApps subdomains and listed apps;
- use of YennayApps Social Publisher;
- connection of TikTok, Instagram, Meta or other social media accounts;
- content preparation, media packaging, draft uploads and other platform actions that are separately enabled; and
- logs, diagnostics and security records created when using the service.
Some individual apps may have additional privacy notices if they collect different types of data.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on the service used, we may collect the following types of information.
Account and contact information
- name, email address and username;
- operator account details, role or permission level; and
- contact messages or support requests.
Social media connection information
- platform account identifiers, such as a TikTok open_id, Instagram user ID, page ID or business account identifier;
- account username or profile identity;
- display name and avatar where provided by the platform;
- access tokens and refresh tokens;
- token expiry dates;
- scopes or permissions granted; and
- connection status and audit logs.
For the current TikTok production workflow, the requested permissions are user.info.basic, user.info.profile and video.upload. They are used to verify the authorised account identity and send operator-approved media to the creator's TikTok draft workflow. The current production release does not request TikTok Direct Post permission.
We use this information only to operate authorised publishing and account-connection features.
Publishing and content information
- source website URLs and event or business listing details;
- titles, dates, locations, summaries and descriptions;
- generated captions and hashtags;
- images, videos, thumbnails and branded media files;
- draft approval status and output packages; and
- publishing history, upload status and platform response messages.
Technical and usage information
- IP address, browser and device information;
- server logs, timestamps and request URLs;
- error logs, security events and diagnostic information; and
- usage activity within the service.
Cookies and local storage
YennayApps may use cookies or local storage to support login sessions, security, preferences and service functionality.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide and operate YennayApps services and show the app directory;
- authenticate users and operators;
- connect authorised TikTok, Instagram, Meta or other social accounts;
- generate, review and package social media content;
- send operator-approved media to supported platform drafts, inboxes or other explicitly enabled platform actions;
- store audit logs of approvals, uploads and publishing actions;
- prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised access;
- troubleshoot errors and improve reliability;
- comply with legal, security and platform requirements; and
- respond to questions or support requests.
5. Social Media Platform Integrations
If you connect a TikTok, Instagram, Meta or other social media account, the platform may ask you to approve specific permissions. We only use granted permissions to provide the features you request, such as account connection, media upload, draft creation or another explicitly enabled platform action.
For TikTok, YennayApps Social Publisher currently uses OAuth account identity information to verify the configured destination and video.upload to send approved media to the authorised creator's draft workflow. The creator completes editing and posting inside TikTok. A successful draft delivery is not a public TikTok publication, and Direct Post is not currently enabled.
You can disconnect a stored TikTok connection under Publishing > Connections. Reconnecting requires TikTok OAuth again. You can also revoke access through TikTok's own settings where available.
6. AI and Automated Processing
Some YennayApps features may use AI or automation to create captions, summaries, comments, recommendations or draft content. AI-generated content is intended to support human review. Users should check and approve content before publishing.
We may process source content, captions, draft text and publishing metadata to provide these features.
7. Legal Bases for Processing
Where UK GDPR or similar data-protection laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- consent, where you authorise a social-media connection or optional feature;
- contract, where processing is needed to provide the service requested;
- legitimate interests, such as security, service improvement, audit logging and abuse prevention;
- legal obligation, where processing is required by law; and
- consent or explicit instruction, where a platform account holder authorises specific platform permissions.
8. How We Store and Protect Information
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information, including social-media tokens and account-connection details.
Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored server-side as protected connection information. Platform secrets and tokens are not intentionally exposed on the public YennayApps website or committed to public code repositories. No online service can guarantee complete security. Users should also protect their own accounts, devices and login details.
9. Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- TikTok, Instagram, Meta or other platforms when you request an authorised account connection, upload, draft creation or another supported platform action;
- hosting and infrastructure providers;
- analytics, monitoring or error-logging providers;
- service providers who help operate YennayApps;
- legal, regulatory or security authorities where required; and
- professional advisers where needed.
We do not sell personal data or connected-account data to advertisers.
10. International Transfers
Some third-party platforms and service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or your country of residence. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
11. Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy.
Publishing logs, audit records, generated media and connected-account records may be kept while the service is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for security, troubleshooting, audit and compliance purposes.
Access tokens may be kept while an account remains connected. If an account is disconnected, we will delete or disable stored tokens where reasonably possible, unless limited records must be retained for legal, security or audit reasons. Final fixed retention periods by data category remain subject to owner/legal governance.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:
- access your personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion;
- object to processing;
- restrict processing;
- request a copy of your data;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- complain to a data-protection authority.
You can also revoke social-media account access through the relevant platform's own settings.

13. Children
YennayApps is not intended for children under 13, and some apps or features may require users to be older. Users must comply with the age requirements of any connected social-media platform or app.

YennayApps may link to external websites, social-media platforms and third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms, content or security of third-party websites or platforms. You should review their privacy policies and terms before using them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
